This landmark volume has finally been officially launched at a special event which took place in The Scottish Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh, on the afternoon of Saturday 12 April, 2014.
Speakers included James Robertson, Douglas Gifford, Donald Campbell, and myself as editor. There was also a short performance by Theatre Alba.
Chronology and context
The collection brings together Robert McLellan’s major stage plays, including poetry and verse drama, in a career which spanned four crucial decades in the development of Scottish Theatre up to 1970. It also includes a chronology, introductory materials and Scots glossary.
